 Scuba diving is an exciting and rewarding all year round activity. Like any water-based activity, the key is education to enhance safety and enjoyment.

At SDA, we have been training people to dive since 1988 and have trained several thousand happy and competent divers.

We have always maintained a no hidden extras approach to business and believe that once you have begun your course and completed a medical exam (required under Australian Standards) there is nothing else to pay, everything is provided. 

We train divers to international standards using the best certifying agency in the world, Scuba Schools International (SSI). Upon completion, you will receive an international divers certification card which is recognized all over the world and by all international agencies.

SDA endeavours for you to become the very best diver you can become. Our commitment to you does not end with the completion of the beginners course. We will strive to help you gain wonderful experiences like we have had. That takes a little time but is totally worth it.

A key ingredient to you becoming a great diver is the post-course environment and our excellent dive club. All our organized club dives are lead by well-trained professionals who will take an active interest in your development as a diver.
