Our Dive Club … Seamasters Our dive club is called the Seamasters Club and caters for all divers from basic Openwater to Advanced. Our mascot is “Bluey” the groper.
We have a highly experienced and motivated team of dive leaders who are keen to pass on knowledge and skills to our club members. Our strength is our people and they always do us proud. We conduct regular local, intra and interstate dives as advertised in our informative weekly newsletter which is distributed by e-mail. There are basically 3 forms of membership: 1. e-mail By joining our free e-mail list, you will be kept up to date on a weekly basis as to the activities of the club and our excellent training schedule. 2. Standard Our standard membership entitles you to receive the benefits of club membership such as discounted air, nitrox and hire, free club dives as well as special prices on trips and purchases within the store. 3. Membership Plus Our newly created membership plus allows active club divers to save around $500 per year on gear servicing, hydro costs, free air and much more.
Our regular club dives are Wednesday evenings 6pm, Saturday and Sundays at 9am from the store. Because of our location which is unique in Australia, we enjoy easy access to some of the best temperate water diving to be found anywhere. We have over 20 regular divesites, most within minutes of the store which also makes it affordable as we do not have to hire boats for each and every dive. Having said this, we also have access to some brilliant boat dives which are regularly published in our newsletter. We have a very active core of photographers in the club and on just about any day it is usual to see our divers gathering around the main TV set in the store, watching videos or pictures they have just captured. Our club is committed to safety and the environment with regular dives devoted to cleaning up our underwater world by removing rubbish and lead from our local dive sites. We welcome visitors to our area and would love to send you home with fond memories and a photograph to remember us by. Ask any of our active members and I'm sure they will recommend our club to you. |
