SDA Makes Winter just that little warmer

Winter has struck so what does that mean? It means amazing diving of course. Yes everyone, Crystal clear water, nice flat seas and fish life that will blow your mind. Of course the water is a little cooler, but with our new range of Lavacore under suits, that is of no consequence as they are guaranteed to keep you toasty warm. See in store for our new specials on this great new range from Pinnacle.

Recent trips.

Well, first off SDA went off to visit one of its favourite dive sites, The SS President Coolidge.  As always, arrival in the beautiful islands of Vanuatu was spectacular and we were greeted like old friends. We spent 5 days diving the most amazing wreck in the world, with nearly everyone getting their SSI TXR ratings and doing the stern dive at 66 mtrs.
We had only been back a few weeks and it was time to jet off again to the HMAS Brisbane. Top marks to our hosts, Sunreef Diving Services, who run an absolute top class facility and made our visit one of the best we have had.
Ben and Damon, 2 of our newest divecons, lead the trip and did a fantastic job. The fish life was amazing and Nick even managed to find 2 angler fish. There were huge QLD Groupers, massive schools of yellow tail kingfish and Cobia and baitfish everywhere. A surreal experience.  Not to mention how easy the wreck is to penetrate and how great it is to be in the bowels of one of Australia’s Warships. In fact, it was so good we are going back again at the end of July for those who missed out.

Our New Sea Masters Partner.

We are also excited to announce a new partner to the Sea Masters Dive Club.  Todd Hull from Hoochie Mumma has joined forces with Sydney Dive Academy offering his superb boat to us every weekend (weather permitting of course). You can now book a double boat dive on Hoochie Mumma any Saturday or Sunday for just $100 to club members. To celebrate this, we have been offered a double dive on the Famous Magic Point Sharks this weekend for just $85 per person club members, which is even cheaper than our boat diving days, so grab it while you can.

Goodbye to one of our favourites

It is with sadness we must say goodbye to one of our current divecons. Jenna Marks who has become a regular face at the shop over the past few years has gotten herself married and is moving off to the other side of the country. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jenna for all her efforts and I am sure you will all join us in wishing her the very best of luck in Western Australia with her Husband Adam. Jenna as assured us she will be back regularly to visit. She is pulling out all stops to complete several dives before she flys out on Thursday so drop us a line if you would like to organise a dive with Jenna before she jets off.

Hopefully we will see you all in the water soon.

Cheers

Bluey
