Hi Everyone, my name is Peter Perry.I have been diving since 1993 before  I came to Sydney Dive Academy in 2003 as an Advanced Openwater Diver. Since then I have been trained through the various levels of Diver Education and progressed through the Mentor Programme under the guidance of PX, Llyle and Leanne. Progressing through the Leadership course of Dive Con, at the conclusion of that stage I had logged over 500 dives and recieved my Gold 500 rating.

My training continued as an Associate Instructor being involved with fellow instructor Martin Hing teaching at the UNSW pool and theory sessions for a number of years. This proved to be a vital part of skill development and training for the road ahead in becoming a qualified Openwater instructor.

Training and learning continues as we keep building our experience and development. Now after 3 years of holding my Openwater / Advanced Openwater Instructor rating,obtaining a Platanium 1000 and logging 1500 dives,and close to 300 diver certifications, I feel proud to be apart of this unique club SDA. Being able to be involved in the development of many divers including a selected number who have gone on to join the ranks of leadership. The club has given me the opportunity to travel and dive some great sites, shipwrecks and  reefs. The training on offer is of a high standard with no compromise and a primary concern in becoming safe responsible divers.
