Ben Wall SSI Tec XR Decompression Diver
Hi Guys, My name is Ben Wall and I am a proud member of the SDA Sea Masters Dive Club and Deep Diver Group. Originally from Sydney, it is great to see so many fantastic dive sites in my home city. I only began diving in 2007 and had an instant attraction to the underwater world. My basics began under the tuition of the SDA Instructional staff, whose passion for diving encouraged me to continue developing my skills and experience. After a few more specialty courses, I then moved onto my Technical Foundations under the guidance of the legendary Peter Cross and Jamie Illistom – an experience that words can’t describe. The club promotes an extremely friendly/social environment that boasts a load of experience in its members, who are more than willing to pass on their advice. Peter Cross has a wealth of knowledge that would be rivalled by few and with him running the show, it is always a pleasure to be part of the club. For the Tech Junkies like myself, sign up for the foundations course as it is a whole new world under 40m. The Tech instructors promote a very safe learning environment and will take you to a new level with your abilities. For me, I can’t get enough and look forward to many more technical dives around the world. Favourite shore dive in Sydney – Shark Point (with a soft spot for Bare Island) Favourite boat dive in Sydney – SS Tuggerah “The Tugg” Favourite overseas dive – SS President Coolidge, Vanuatu – there is no way my description of this dive would even come close to how amazing it really is. There is nothing like diving to 68m in 28OC water with 30+ visibility. Usual Dive Buddy – Damon Spooner (even though he is a Kiwi) Looking forward to seeing everyone on the Deco Line |
