Dear Peter, I have not stopped thinking about our weekend of diving, and have been day dreaming at work about when my next dive will be!!! Thanks to you, Leanne and Bob, for making me feel safe and confident in the procedures. Matt and I had a really fun time and I do see diving being a part of our lives. Your staff are professional, friendly and reassuring. All of these things are so important when you are learning something new. Thanks very much again for opening our lives to new adventures! Regards Julie Malone
Thanks Jamie and the rest of the SDA group for a awsome weeks diving in Santo on the SS President Coolidge and Million Dollar Point. Warm 29 degree water, 40 - 50m Vis and the night dive with the flash light fish is just amazing a must do for all divers. Anybody even half interested in the next trip bug PX or Jamie for... the right Certs for the best wreck on this planet. Great food, Great people, awsome diving plus memories to last a life time.
Cheers Damon
G'day Peter, Just wanted to drop you an email thanking you for sending my official SSI card and including those nice words. My dives with you and the others are at the top of my list of fond memories of my trip to NZ and Australia. I can't believe my dumb luck in coming across you as an instructor. I would find it hard to believe that there is a person better suited than you to train a beginner like me,in the techniques, exploration and excitement of SCUBA. Since my return to Minnesota in late February I've been busy here at the golf course (we officially started the 2006 season on April 1ST), and I've also started a few projects on my house. No dives since the GBR I'm afraid. I hope that all is well with you and yours, and I plan to keep in touch, because you never know when I may end up in Sydney again. Please send my warm regards to the others at the shop. Be well, Mark Sverkerson PS Is that our friend the Weedy Sea Dragon I spy in the photo gallery?
Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to do a double boat dive at Agincore Reef on the Great Barrier Reef. It was one of the best experiences of my life and one which I think will spur me onto doing more dives, especially boat dives. For the first time since I started diving I found myself relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it. Please pass on my best wishes to Leanne and all the SDA gang who were always very patient and helpful and who gave me the opportunity to see this Beautiful Underwater World. Yours in Scuba Learning, Steven Powell
Hi Peter I just thought I would write a quick thanks to the SDA gang. I got my dive ticket just over a year ago with Leanne and the SDA. I have had a small amount of dives since then. I would also like to say that ever since diving with yourself (on Anzac Day) I have become a regular at the shop and have since joined as a member - the people that I have been diving with and dealing with in the shop have been great and would really like to thank SDA as a whole for their friendliness and advice - especially Leanne, Craig and Elizabeth. This is one of the major reasons I have decided to upgrade my gear with you. I look forward to continuing my diving around this area and becoming a regular at the shop. Best Regards Jason Farlow
Hi all at SDA - Chris here As some of you know, I have been having some truely magical adventures here on the ningaloo reef in exmouth WA. I have spent hours in the water with manta rays, reef sharks, a leopard shark or 2, huge bullrays, lionfish, swam through a baitball and even touched a humpbaack whale calf (ask marty for the story on that one) However, I have not sent this email simply to brag (although that does play a part - the water here is 22-23 degrees) but instead to say a huge thankyou to all the crew at SDA who have guided and aided my diving. It was not untill comming to another dive centre that I could truely appreciate what i have at home. At SDA the friendly atmosphere, professional service and always a laugh or smile will return customers time and time again. Thanks for everything PX and crew Chris Churcher (looking forward to diving with you all again soon) Hey Jamie,
I know it's been awhile but I wanted to fill you in on Laceys' and my trip to the Great Barrier Reef.... We ended up completing 16 dives through Deep Sea Divers Den and had the absolute time of our lives! We had the amazing opportunity to see several white tip reef sharks, barracuda, sea turtles, and the rest of the amazing variety of marine life on the GBR. I would strongly recommend DSDD to anyone looking for an affordable trip to the reef out of Cairns!
Furthermore, I'd like to thank you again for the highly personalized attention and instruction we received through SDA; we felt very ahead of the "game" during each of our dives including and especially throughout the night dives.
Since Australia I have completed my master's degree in international business and am applying for jobs with the US State Department! Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to be stationed in Canberra so I can come back to SDA for a dive or two and see old Bluey!
Lacey is finishing her degree in English out of Scripps College just outside of LA. She's really looking forward to our next trip to Aussie Land!
I hope all is well down under Jamie!
